Accessibility
We want anyone to be able to use this site and our services, in English and in Spanish. If something gets in your way, we fix it.
Last updated: October 13, 2026
1. The standard
We work to make the site conform to the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.
Current status: partially conformant. Some parts don't yet fully meet the standard; the known ones are listed in section 3. This statement is based on a self-assessment using automated tools, keyboard-only navigation and screen reader testing.
2. What we already do
- The whole site exists in English and Spanish, with a language switcher on every page, and each page's language is declared for screen readers.
- A "Skip to content" link at the top of every page.
- Full keyboard navigation with a visible focus indicator.
- Text alternatives for images that convey information.
- Sufficient color contrast between text and background.
- Text can be enlarged up to 200% without losing content or functionality.
- Form fields with labels, and error messages in text, not only in color.
3. Known limitations and alternatives
- Timed mock exams. They are timed on purpose, because they replicate the real exam. If you need extra time or another adjustment to practice, write to us and we'll work it out with you. Accommodations for the official exam are requested from the BACB, not from us.
- Study diagrams and charts. Some complex diagrams don't yet have a full text description. If you need a text version of any of them, we'll send it to you.
- Downloadable documents. Some PDFs may not be fully tagged for screen readers. If you need it, we'll send you an accessible version or another format.
- Third-party services. Checkout with Stripe, YouTube videos, the Spotify podcast and Zoom sessions depend on those providers' accessibility.
4. Adjustments for services and live sessions
If you need an adjustment for a consultation, an assessment, a supervision session or a live session — captions, materials in another format, an interpreter or other support — tell us when you book and we'll arrange it at no extra cost to you.
5. Compatibility
The site is designed for current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge, and for the most widely used screen readers, such as VoiceOver, NVDA and JAWS.
6. If you run into a barrier
Email or call us and tell us which page you were on, what you were trying to do and, if you like, which browser or assistive technology you use.
- We confirm we received it within 2 business days.
- While we fix it, we give you the content or service another way.
- We tell you what we did within 10 business days.
If our answer didn't solve the problem, write directly to the founder, Mara Karla Sánchez Pérez, at the same email address, with the subject "Accessibility".
